About Our Design Team
While each member of our design team has their own history and unique qualities to bring to the table, we all share one thing in common: a passion for people. “We simply love getting to know our customers,” says Lara Beasley, our Manager and Lead Designer. “Not just the furniture they want for their home, but to really know them and their stories.”
Community is at the heart of everything we do, and that just happens to be home! In building these relationships with our customers, we are able to better serve them and create a space that truly reflects their home style and lifestyle. Because at the end of the day, there’s no place like home… and we really want you to love it.
“We don’t just do home, we help people translate home,” says Lara. “It’s helping people understand what home is and can be.”
About Our Design Services
The first step in our design process is to get to know our customers during the initial consultation. This includes everything from the dimensions of the room(s) to the items they resonate with to what’s happening in their lives right now. We believe that design can’t be technical. It’s important to know what’s going on so we can ensure the space meets their needs. Are they upsizing or downsizing, getting married or getting divorced, expecting a baby or preparing for an empty nest? These are just a few of the many life changes our team hears about in our design center.
“Only our customers know how they best live in their homes,” Lara says. “Our job is to take all of these pieces and create a meaningful experience.”
Design is a tender balance of form of function. Based on the customer’s one-of-a-kind style and needs, we choose items that are not only beautiful, but also serve a purpose. We then place these items into a layout, whether it is a single room design or the whole house. This process helps our customers to fully envision their space before the installation. Once the items are selected, the next step will be installation with our in-house delivery crew. To us, design is not only providing a service, but also providing care.
